Running for reelection

A lifelong District 4 resident, proud to serve

Hi, I’m Charlie Ludden, and I’m running for reelection for the Metro Tech School Board. On December 9, 2025, the current board members appointed me to fill the vacated seat in District 4.

District 4 is where I’ve lived most of my life. And I’m grateful for the opportunity to keep serving our community.

Deep roots in District 4

  • Lived in District 4 for most of my life
  • Attended Wilson Elementary
  • Graduate of Oklahoma City University
  • Bought my home in the Paseo District
  • Currently work in the Plaza District

A personal connection to Metro Tech

I went to middle school and high school at Northeast Academy of Health Science and Engineering, where I saw classmates take advantage of Metro Tech to build careers while they were still in school.

Opportunity matters
A four-year institution is not the only answer. Metro Tech provides opportunity for people to learn a trade and join the workforce.

Why Metro Tech matters

  • Career and technical education opens doors for students and adults alike
  • Trade education is a direct pathway into good jobs and a stronger local workforce
  • Metro Tech expands opportunity: especially for the east side of Oklahoma City

Priorities

Metro Tech should expand access to real-world skills and pathways into good jobs.

Support career & technical education

  • Champion training that leads directly to employment
  • Strengthen programs that serve students while they’re still in high school
  • Support adults returning to learn new skills and trades

Keep opportunity accessible

  • Respect multiple paths to success, not just four-year degrees
  • Connect more residents to trade education and workforce entry
  • Invest in a stronger Oklahoma City workforce
